Effective January 1, 2022, Weymouth Township Municipal Court has merged services with the newly opened Central Municipal Court of Atlantic County at nearby Mays Landing. This court is mainly responsible for traffic tickets and ordinance violations in Weymouth Township. It also handles minor disorderly persons offenses. Initial hearings for more serious offenses may be held in municipal court before the case is referred to Atlantic County Superior Court, also in Mays Landing. Temporary restraining orders can be issued by municipal judges on-call during holidays and off-hours when the Superior Court offices may not be open.
