As of Jan. 1, 2022, the Egg Harbor Township Municipal Court has consolidated with the newly-opened Central Municipal Court of Atlantic County in Mays Landing. The court primarily handles traffic and ordinance infractions, as well as minor disorderly persons charges within the town's jurisdiction. More serious indictable offenses are referred to Atlantic County Superior Court in Mays Landing. During holidays and off-hours, when the Superior Court is not in session, on-call municipal judges may also issue emergency temporary restraining orders.
