Hamilton Man Shoots Officer Before Being Fatally Wounded

It has been reported that a Hamilton Township police officer was shot, and the alleged shooter was killed after a domestic violence call ended in gunfire.

According to the report, the Hamilton Township Police Department received a domestic violence call. Officers responding to the call were met by a man with a rifle. The armed man began shooting at the police, and the officers returned fire. One officer was shot multiple times and was taken to the hospital. The armed man was fatally wounded.

The New Jersey Attorney General is investigating the incident, and the wounded officer is expected to survive his injuries.
