Brick Man Pleads Guilty After Uploading Child Pornography Through Kik Messaging App

It has been reported that Christopher Budelman of Brick Township pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual assault in a case involving child pornography.

According to the report, the New Jersey State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force began its investigation after discovering that someone was uploading child pornography to the internet through the Kik Messenger App. With the assistance of the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office High Tech Crime Unit, law enforcement identified Budelman and charged him with the crimes.

At Budelman's sentencing, prosecutors intend to seek a 7-year sentence in the New Jersey State Prison for each count.
