In 2021, Manson, who is famous for his controversial lyrics and goth style, was accused by former partners of several incidents of domestic violence that allegedly occurred at his West Hollywood home between 2009 and 2011.

Allegations Beyond the Statute of Limitations
Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman released a statement explaining the decision not to pursue formal charges against Manson, whose real name is Brian Warner, on procedural grounds. The statement read in part, “We have determined that allegations of domestic violence fall outside of the statute of limitations, and we cannot prove charges of sexual assault beyond a reasonable doubt."
The District Attorney also thanked the complainants in the case for coming forward with the allegations and hailed their “courage and resilience.” The investigation began under former District Attorney George Gascon when multiple women accused the 56-year-old Warner of several instances of domestic violence and sexual assault. Although their names were not released to the press, both of Warner's accusers eventually revealed themselves.
Manson's Accusers Publicly Identified Themselves
Esme Bianco, most prominently known for her appearance in the HBO drama “Game of Thrones,” identified herself at a rally for Nathan Hochman during his campaign for the office he now holds. At the rally, Bianco, who also filed a civil suit against Warner that was settled on undisclosed terms, took issue with how long it was taking then-District Attorney George Gascon's office to complete its investigation.
Actor Evan Rachel Wood, who is Warner's former fiancée, came forward in 2021 to accuse him of abuse. She alleged that Warner groomed her for years before they made their relationship public in 2007 when Wood was 19 and Warner was 38. However, the District Attorney's office also declined to file charges in her case. Warner's attorney, Howard King, released a statement proclaiming his client's innocence and praising the DA's decision.
