14-Year-Old Trafficked Across State Lines

A Brooklyn man has admitted his involvement in a child sex trafficking conspiracy. The U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey announced that 30-year-old Soauib Butcher pleaded guilty in Newark federal court to one count of conspiracy to commit sex trafficking of a minor.

After luring a 14-year-old girl away from a Bridgewater group home, Butcher reportedly forced her into prostitution.
